Larry has been playing guitar for over 25 years and became a part of the Chicago/N.W. Indiana live music scene at the tender age of 13. With a style and approach that balances out equal measures of hard rocking intensity and melodic sensibility, Larry’s style was formed from not only the hard rock/metal bands of his youth, but also from his penchant towards artists like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, and a love for the infectious hooks and melodies of 1970s and 1980s pop and new-wave music. Playing with many original heavy acts over the years, he has made a name for himself over the last decade as a guitarist/songwriter in the internationally touring band Novembers Doom (The End/Sony Records), with whom he still performs. In recent years, while looking to have some fun and expand his horizons, Larry became involved with the party rock covers scene, and performed with several different local cover bands. It was while playing with these bands that he became acquainted with X-Girlfriend, and a mutual admiration for each other’s style and abilities has now lead to them working together for the past several years.
